What makes me write these letters that I know I'll never mail
What makes me dial your number when I know that you're not there
I been talking to your pictures any fool knows they can't hear
But a man can do such foolish things when loneliness moves in

I wake up in the morning before I realize you've gone
For a moment this old house still seems like a home
But then I face reality and it's just four walls again
Since you moved out and loneliness moved in
